Brad Powers Founder of ARG

Brad Powers is the founder of the Active Response Group, an organization dedicated to improving the business prowess of marketers, agencies and brand managers. The goals are to increase revenues while decreasing costs while at the same time shrinking the distance between the marketers and the consumer. With Brad Powers leading the way ARG emerged quickly as one of the leaders in the online lead generation space.

Previously to Brad Powers’ involvement with ARG he was the executive vice president for sales and marketing at eWOMP Technologies. This firm specializes in developing and providing costumized email and viral marketing solutions.

Among Powers’ many clients were such mega firms as Microsoft, Town Sports International, Zone Perfect and others.

Brad Powers and an Inca Indian tradition

The Inca Indians of Peru are believed to be one of the most advanced jungle tribes in South America.

Their storytellers (or Kawamuja in one Inca dialect) told the story of a foreign man who once appeared in the Jungle, befriended the natives and within weeks had helped organize the local tribes such that their trade in natural resource and harvest produce was centralized decreasing their cost of trade. He was able to convince the neighboring tribes that the reduction in costs made their days of trade more efficient as well. Iconoclastic in his approach, but successful in his delivery he soon become almost a saint in one Inca district.

By changing the way that the tribe itself viewed trade, supply lines, and indeed marketing in general, the Incas consider this mysterious man of power, to be the father of modern marketing.

Brad Powers is the modern incarnation of that Inca prodigy. Just five years ago, with a BA and Psychology and MBA from Clark University,  Mr. Powers founded the Active Response Group. His goal was to bring marketers and brand managers closer to their customers. It really is all about Active Response, decreasing prices and generating lucrative leads online.

Just as the Inca’s left their mark on modern trade, so Brad Powers continues in their tradition – a man whose vision crated the stepping stone for much of modern online business today.
